John Malkovich

Biography

John Malkovich won an Obie for Steppenwolf's True West in 1983. The following year, he appeared with Dustin Hoffman in the Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman, which would earn him an Emmy when it was made into a television film in 1985. He received Academy Award nominations for Places in the Heart and In the Line of Fire and burlesqued his own public persona in the films Adaptation and Being John Malkovich. In addition to film and stage directing, Malkovich designs his line of menswear under the label “Uncle Kimono.”

John Malkovich was an ensemble member from 1975–2020.
